Anjunem Dam is located at Chorla Ghat along the Sankelim-Belgaum Route, roughly 10 kilometres from Sankelim City. It’s one of the most beautiful sites to take in the ethereal beauty and lush surrounds.
The dam is situated beneath Vageri Hill, one of the tallest hills in Goa, in a forested valley that was developed adjacent to another peak, Molemgad, to the southeast. There are rest areas provided by the Forest Service in Kerry and the Irrigation Department above the dam.
Anjunem Dam’s atmosphere is enticing enough to attract visitors year-round, and not just during the rainy season.
